Disclosure Process

Disclosure Requests

The disclosure process is intended to provide third parties with information about domain holder data that is not published in the WHOIS.

Background

As a registrar accredited by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), we are obliged to respond to disclosure requests from third parties with a legitimate interest. The basis for this obligation is the Registration Data Policy for gTLDs.

How can I submit a request?

In order to receive the requested data, it is essential that the disclosure request meets certain requirements. The request must:

  1. be sent by email to disclosure@inwx.com
  2. include the identity of the requester and their contact details,
  3. specify the legal form of the company or individual,
  4. include any powers of attorney, if applicable,
  5. state the legal basis, the authorization, and the specific reasons for the request,
  6. include the requester’s agreement or commitment to process the information received lawfully.

When and in what form will I receive information?

We will confirm receipt of the request without delay, at the latest within two business days. Requests that meet the format described above will be answered promptly, at the latest within 30 calendar days.

Only requests that meet all of the above requirements will be processed.
